The Columbus Warehouse District Welcomes EXP to 240 N. Fifth Street

Hackman Capital Partners is thrilled to announce that EXP has recently leased approximately 5,300 square feet at 240 N. Fifth Street in the Columbus Warehouse District. Hackman Capital Partners, a real estate investment and operating company, owns through affiliated entities a majority of the property in the district, which is located on the northeast side of downtown Columbus.

EXP will be combining two separate units into one contemporary office space.

JLL’s Managing Director, Clayton Davis, represented Hackman Capital Partners in the transaction; JLL’s, Alex Ashworth, represented EXP. 

Founded in 1906, EXP provides engineering, architecture, design and consulting services to the world’s built and natural environment. The firm’s expertise spans a range of markets, including aviation, bridges, civic, commercial + retail, education, energy, entertainment + sports, federal, healthcare, highways + roads, hospitality + gaming, industrial, justice and correctional, land development, mining, mission critical, oil, gas + chemicals, pipelines, science + technology, rail + transit and water.

The firm has offices in more than 90 locations throughout North America. The firm will be relocating its Columbus office to 240 N. Fifth Street, after the suite has been customized. Completion of those renovations is anticipated early in the second quarter of 2022.

Hackman Capital has completed renovations to the entry way, lobby and other common areas of the three-story, multi-tenant building, originally constructed in 1944 and first occupied by America Electric. Available suites have also been renovated. The spaces feature white painted brick walls, tall ceilings, large windows with expansive views of downtown Columbus, updated lighting and flooring, plus modern new bathrooms and kitchens.
